Self Catering Accommodation full of history

Harmony Cottage is a Grade II listed building built in 1832 and has been developed over the years by many of its owners. The living room with the gallery above used to be a stable for the owners chickens and pigs. The dining hall was once the living room, and if you look at the stairs you will see 3 hooks.

Those are original and were used to hang animals which the owners would eat over a period of time, and in the floor below are the original flag stones which are slightly engraved creating a gully which collected the animals blood, this of course was long before fridges were invented. Not a nice thought but history nonetheless.
